LTO suspend issuance of student driver’ permit The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has suspended the issuance of student driver’s permit starting July 1. LTO Iligan District Office Chief Monadato M. Mangadang said starting August 3, 2020 applicants who want to acquire student driver’s permit should have already undergone a 15- hour theoretical driving course. He said effective July 1, LTO will suspend the issuance of student driver’s permit because by August. LTO will be requiring a 15 hour driving theoretical driving course for those interested individual. “By August 3, we will be requiring applicants to undergo the required 15 hours of theoretical session,” Mangadang said in an interview by IGM.
